Chicken (or Turkey) Tetrazzini
8-12 oz of cooked chix or turkey, chopped
Spaghetti - enough for your group
chicken bouillon
1 can cream of mushroom soup
small can of mushroom stems and pcs
1 c grated cheddar cheese
Cook spaghetti as directed but add a couple of tsp of bouillon granules to the water.
Preheat oven to 350.
Drain spaghetti, place back in pan you cooked it in. Add can of mushroom soup, mushroom pc (I do not drain first, Gma S does), cooked chicken and 1/2 the grated cheese. Stir.
Place in greased 11x7 baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake for 20 minutes or so until heated through.
My kids LOVE this, and it has become the "asked for dinner" a TON lately!

but what if they don't sell cream of mushroom soup here? (or cream of chicken--i don't eat fungus and automatically substitute...)
your crew might like this:
cut chicken into chunks. brown garlic in olive oil, add chicken chunks. toss the whole thing--oil, garlic, chix and all--with cooked spaghettini (or angel hair, or whatever) and top with pepper and parmesan. sooooo easy and good!
